Michel Hotel Wetzlar

I was pleasantly surprised by the beautiful decorations in the hotel's common areas. The elegant furniture and lovely artwork created a charming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The hotel was also very accessible for senior people like myself, with spacious hallways and convenient amenities that catered to our needs.

It would have been even better if the children of the staff were more attentive and friendly towards senior guests.

Breakfast was pretty ok.

Very outdated hotel which urgently needs refurbishment. Entering the room feels like a trip back to the 80's. The old TV swithched automatically of and on again every 10 minutes. Typically that means that it's either haunted or ready for replacement :-)

The place was clean and newly decorated. Excellent staff with good service. - A wide range of meals for breakfast, including eggs and bacon.

perfect and nice location around 4-6 minutes' walk from kellertheater wetzlar. 10 minutes walk to bus station. cheap, new-fashioned rooms complete with shower, separate beds, for example.

During my recent stay at this hotel, I was pleased with the easy check-in process and the helpfulness of the reception staff who spoke good English. The room itself was standard but spacious, allowing me to comfortably spread out. The location was convenient, being within walking distance to the Old Town. The breakfast buffet, included, was delicious and offered a variety of options to choose from. I had a pleasant experience and would recommend this hotel for its value and location.

Good value for money, nice swimming pool & sauna

Room fittings are a bit outdated, additional fees for breakfast (€17.50) and wifi (€9) are excessive.

Great setting next to the historic center and city center. Rooms are tidy, recently refurbished, with a comfortable bed and internet access. - A great selection of meals for breakfast, including eggs and bacon.

Some areas of hotel worn and needing renovation.

Stayed at the Michel Hotel in Wetzlar for business and found the large, free parking and spacious rooms with plenty of power sockets to be ideal. The restaurant and bar were nice, and the breakfast was great.

Rooms were big and clean

The Mercure’s Charlotte restaurant- closed The Bierstube Mälzerei bar- closed too. In the description of the hotel there is a restaurant and bar. They exist but are closed and do not work.
